Job Description
KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Monthly P&L account
- P&L budgeting and forecasting
- Manage & Assist preparation of annual budgets
- Performance analysis metrics, e.g. variances and production delays
- Ownership / review of relevant balance sheet accounts
- Fixed assets & capital expenditure
- Line manager for Accounts Assistants
- Management Accounts: Manage & Assist preparation of monthly management accounts and Actual/Budget variance analysis
- Statutory Accounts: Assist with preparation of annual statutory accounts and Manage external audit of statutory accounts
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Finance / Accounts Degree CIMA / ICAEW / ACCA qualified Industry experience (esp. pharma) beneficial SAP experience beneficial Management experience Outstanding mathematical skills Deadline/completion orientated with strong planning & organisation skills, and attention to detail Influencing skills Good verbal, written communication and presentation skills Good leadership/mentoring/influencing and coaching skills Analytical & IT skills
