Job Description

Customer Focused

Contact customers by phone, fax, letter and email to progress outstanding payments and obtain an accurate payment date as additional support to the local credit controllers
Ensure all of our customers are dealt with in a professional and friendly manner
Record payment promises and ensuring following up with the customer
Establish contacts and customer relationships ensuring continuity and maintaining communication with all relevant parties to eliminate misunderstanding and misrepresentation of the debt due.
Educate the customer on new services available e.g. Myspeedy, Speedy App

Communication

Provide our Credit Controllers and customers with first class customer service developing a strong working relationship
Assist in any other duties as reasonably requested.
Ad hoc Project Work where required

Dispute Management

Collate details of disputed invoices and initiate the internal query procedures and circulate to the appropriate departments
Assist with the logging of queries
Track query status and assist with the sourcing of required information in order to speed up closure of query
Prepare and send out POD and collection notes to resolve queries

Administration

Prepare and send letters/invoices to customers via email, fax or post, monitoring response to determine potential payment date
Identify and record payments promised
Assist with daily/weekly/monthly department routines in the distribution of invoices/statements/reports to customers
Maintain and update customer contact details within systems (On guard and AX)
Manage Credit Control & AR Suspensions e-mail inboxes, as well as supporting the invoicing administrator role to manage the invoicing inbox
Assist with the management of the remission day process including the distribution of requests and inputting onto the system
