Job Description

We are looking to recruit a well-organized, self-motivated individual to join us as a Business Support Administrator, working in our training and compliance department.

Central Support Services provide ethical and innovative ways of working to ensure that every home, school and member of staff has the equipment, training and resources needed to perform their role without interruption.

We also know that working across the group brings its own challenges, with conflicts of demand and need in different areas. You can be sure that whatever your role, you will be supported by a family of colleagues, and a Management Team who knows staff need to be looked after too. Training, team meetings and development opportunities will all be offered to ensure that you reach your own career and personal goals.

Duties and responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

  • Allocation of training courses
  • Update training records for all employees
  • Book external rooms for training courses
  • Book courses with trainers
  • Book staff on to internal/ external courses
  • Arrange hotel bookings for trainers/staff as required
  • Issue reminders for courses/renewals due
  • Email out confirmation and/or zoom links
  • Enroll learners on diploma – City & Guilds website
  • Issue certificates for City & Guilds
  • Produce and issue training statistics to managers
  • Source specific courses as required
  • Produce and distribute training calendar
  • Update annual training plans with unit managers
  • Co-ordinate and process Reg 44s/45s
  • Update periodically Statement of Purpose's
  • Ensure the central records of the group remain up to date with the most recent Ofsted inspections
  • Assist with Ofsted new submissions/changes for the Group
  • Co-ordinate issuing policy and procedure updates
  • Check and file group submissions to Information Commissioner’s Office for Data Protection
  • Issue compliance documents such as insurance certificates as requested by customers for compliance reviews.

This is an office based post, but due to Covid19 Pandemic, we are all working from home. Flexibility in providing limited office cover is essential, as is the ability to work alone.
