Job Description

Duties include -

  • Maintaining and delivering accurate project reports and detailing current projects against forecast milestones.
  • Overseeing all expenditure and income relevant to the project
  • Responsible to oversee all production of invoicing externally and liaising with specific departments
  • Manage Cost transfers & re-allocations between project tasks.
  • Review all billing milestones
  • Analysing all expenses relating to the project and providing commentary as required
  • Reporting to Senior Management team and presenting project reports
  • Creating various bespoke reports if required.
  • Partnering with the business non-finance managers in order to create processes and gain the understanding of financial requirements
  • Attendance and input at weekly project meetings

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Previous Experience as Project Accountant is ESSENTIAL. Understanding of Project Management. Process mapping and implementation experience Experience within Prince 2 Confident with large complex projects and the relevant contractual provisions Be highly analytical and systematic with strong computer systems experience and advanced Excel Have excellent strong verbal & written Communication skills with the necessary confidence to manage senior stakeholder relationships. Have strong work ethics, Fast learner, Team player, Able to cope in a fast-paced environment, Reliable, Good time management & prioritization skills.
