The role of Client Management Accountant will report to the Finance Director. The successful candidate will be charged with producing quarterly management accounts and foresting for a portfolio of fund managers. The role will also consist of a business partnering element and will require the successful individual to build strong and effective relationships with the relevant clientele. The successful candidate will also be involved in a variety of other duties, such as: accounts preparation, VAT returns and other ad hoc tasks.

The role of Client Management Accountant will offer a salary of £30,000 - £40,000 with a highly competitive benefits package included. The office is based in Edinburgh City Centre and is easily accessible via public transport.
You will be involved in but not limited to the following duties:
Reporting to the Finance Director
Preparation and presentation of monthly & quarterly management accounts
Liaising and supporting the Fund Managers
Auditing of funds
Accruals, prepayments & journals
Overseeing bank reconciliations
Ensuring adherence with internal & external compliance
Reviewing and developing processes, procedures & controls
Bespoke financial analysis
Adhoc duties
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Be a Qualified or Part-Qualified accountant Have experience of preparing management accountant and business partnering Have experience of fund accounting and statutory accounts preparation (Limited Co. and unlisted unit trusts) Have a background in Financial Services, Private Equity and/or Accountancy Practise Have a university degree (preferably in accountancy and finance) Have experience of relevant accounting software e.g. Sage 50, Xero etc Have exemplary MS Excel skills e.g. pivots, vlookups etc
