Job Description

Support staff work tirelessly to ensure all services run smoothly and efficiently, enabling our teaching staff to focus on delivering an outstanding education for our students.

Main Responsibilities

  • Provide confidential administrative support including the preparation of documents and reports using Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Schedule, monitor and priorities the flow of job requests to the Reprographics Dept, ensuring all work is produced within necessary time constraints
  • Quality assure all of the jobs produced
  • Undertake minor repairs to the equipment
  • Manage the Reprographics budget
  • Maintain paper stock levels at all printers within school
  • Raise purchase orders on the finance system when required, and sort and organize stock when received
  • Maintain an efficient filing system – both manually and electronically
  • Input/extract information to and from computer databases including the SIMS system
  • Make appointments, arrange meetings and book meeting rooms as requested
  • Arrange hospitality as required to suggest improvements of operational procedures as necessary
  • Provide cover for Reception and other absent colleagues when required

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Prior experience in an administrative role is essential. Ideally have experience with Reprographic equipment. Experience of SIMS would be highly advantageous. Sound educational background including GCSE’s in Math and English (A*-C) or equivalent. Experience working in a school environment would be ideal. Must possess strong IT Skills including Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, Word and Outlook.
