A typical day will include:
• Building strong relationships with senior managers in your business area to allow you to contribute to operational strategy and take a consultative approach to HR queries
• Identify ways that you could improve the service delivered by the HR team
• Providing true generalist support across employee engagement, employee relations, reward and talent management
• Working closely with your line manager to deliver organisational change
• Line management responsibility for a more junior member of the HR team, providing ongoing support to allow them to develop their skills
• Overseeing recruitment activities for your business areas
• Providing specialist employment law advice on contractual changes for staff with knowledge of managing seasonal staff beneficial
