The ideal candidate would be joining the firm with an open spaced office environment, along. You will be based at the Manchester City Centre office which provides all the amenities and transport links, resulting in a ‘feel good’ factor in being part of a successful growing firm.
Duties and responsibilities:
Working with a variety of spreadsheets to ensure detailed accuracy of data entry, reconciliations and accurate input of transactions
Banking and issuing of cheques to client
Liaising with suppliers / agents, ensuring all spreadsheets are maintained to a high degree
Allocation of client / office transactions and reconciliations
The ability to effectively communicate with suppliers / agents to ensure a streamlined process
Chasing outstanding costs and disbursements on files
Costs experience highly desirable within a law firm setting
Must adhere to strict policies, procedures and deadlines
Be able to work independently with minimal supervision

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Hands on experience within an accounts based environment. Proclaim software experience highly desirable. Experience in working with spreadsheets to a good level. Demonstrate excellent inter-personal and communication skills. IT literate and highly proficient in the use of Microsoft office based application such as Word, Excel and Outlook. Have the ability to plan and priorities your case load effectively. You must hold a high attention to detail and be highly focused within your career progression.
