Job Description

They are looking to hire a Technical Advisor, Accounts and Audit, to sit as part of their Advisory Services team.

The Technical Advisor will be responsible for supporting individuals affiliated with the organisation by providing advice relating to accounting and audit matters - This advice can be technical, practical or ethical - But it will help these individuals deal with a range of problems they need specialist support in order to tackle.

In order to provide this advice, this person will use their prior knowledge and experience, they will enlist the help of other members of the Advisory Services team, and they also have a library of technical solutions and prior cases to use in order to come to the best advice possible.

The role is office based with no travel, and regular, short hours - There is no culture or ever staying late in this team, and so its a true 9-5 role - So this is a great option for someone looking to redistribute their work/life balance, and who wants to spend more time with the family.

Suitable candidates may be currently working for a firm but looking to get out of practice and work in a new and interesting environment; Or potentially someone may have been working in industry but is now wanting something a little different, or just a role closer to home with shorter hours in order to better their work/life balance.

The role comes with a salary of circa £65,000 - £72,500 plus benefits package including family-level private healthcare and 9% pension contributions.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

The company are looking for a qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / ICAS) with prior experience gained in practice up to at least manager level - Someone who has worked in either an audit or accounts role, or ideally both.
