We are currently recruiting for a health care administrator
To organize and implement the administrative activities that facilitate the smooth running of the Home.
Main duties and responsibilities:
To provide all aspects of administrative support to the Home including typing, faxing, photocopying, maintaining appointment diaries, dealing with post and circulating information.
To deal with a range of clients and callers by telephone or face to face assessing the extent and urgency of their needs and referring on as appropriate and taking clear and accurate messages. To liaise with staff and other agencies in accordance with service requirements.
To deal with general correspondence and email and respond as appropriate, taking guidance from the Home Manager as appropriate.
To assist in the implementation of new systems and procedures as directed.
To attend team meetings and take notes as required.
To log in all petty cash expenses on a weekly basis and reconcile balance in petty cash float weekly.
To maintain central stocks of up-to-date service forms, stationery for the office base, ordering deliveries from suppliers and printing as appropriate.
To report office equipment failures and process premises and office equipment maintenance requests as directed, informing managers when work has been completed.
To collate employee information regarding recruiting and forward to Head Office. Ensure the safe custody and maintenance of personnel files.
To collate and forward to Head Office, details of shift rotas and hours worked to support the processing of payroll in a timely manner.
To be fully aware of and to adhere to all policies, guidelines and procedures in operation within the company.
To ensure that the office area is kept in a safe and tidy condition.
To undertake ad-hoc project work to support the continuing improvement of operational systems and processes.
