Job Description

Jennings Morton Friel Associates are pleased to be working on an exclusive basis with a Private Equity backed market leading services business in their recruitment of a Finance Manager. This is a new role for the organisation and has come about due to a recent restructure and will work in their Central London head office. It is an exciting time to join the business as they are rapidly expanding mainly through international acquisitions.

Reporting into the Senior Vice President of Finance the Finance Manager will manage the day to day duties of the finance department including producing monthly management accounts, maintaining the fixed asset register, post month end journals, depreciations and accrued costs, process the monthly staff payroll and review bank reconciliations. The Finance Manager will supervise 2 Assistant Accountants and take responsibility for resolving any Finance IT system problems.

It is envisaged that the Finance Manager will be an ACA/ACCA/CIMA Qualified Accountant with 2-5 years PQE who has excellent management reporting knowledge. You will liaise with colleagues across the world so you will have strong communication skills and be able to explain accounting terms and implications to non finance staff. You will be a proven staff motivator and posses advanced MS Excel skills.
