Job Title: Apprentice Business Administrator

Salary: Apprenticeship Allowance - starting at £3.50 per hour

Start Date: Immediate

Introduction:
Our client is an established specialist recruitment agency. They are now actively looking for an Apprentice Business Administrator to join our growing team.

The successful applicant will undertake a twelve month Business Administration Apprenticeship to ultimately achieve a Business Administration NVQ Level 2 which, at your pace, can lead to a NVQ Level 3 in your second year.

Although this is an apprenticeship position it is envisaged that there are potential long term aspirations for the successful person. Therefore this is ideally suited towards a person looking for a long term career within a busy office environment where the potential for personal development and to be successful is highly encouraged.

Working days are Monday to Friday (no weekends) and the working hours are Monday to Thursday 8.30am to 5.00pm and Friday 8.30am to 4.00pm (yes we finish early on a Friday). There is a daily 45 minute lunch break.

Responsibilities of the role will include the following:
- Maintain a computerised management database of customers and jobseekers.
- Research, identify and catalogue potential new customers.
- Scan and archive confidential data.
- Answer the telephone taking messages when required.
- Manage internal business documentation ensuring that it is filed correctly.
- Collate marketing material to send to customers.
- Post messages, share content and monitor communication across all our social media platforms.
- Attend regular internal business meetings.

Applicant Requirements:
- Grade D or above in English and Mathematics (or equivalent).
- Experience of using computers.
- Good verbal skills.
- Likes working within a team environment.
- Keen to learn new skills.
- Genuine interest in social media.
