Job Description

We are looking for a proactive Facilities Administrator to support in the coordination of facilities related activities for a large and fast- paced manufacturing site. This position is based in Huddersfield, UK.

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:

  • Support the operational, day-to-day management of contracted services such as maintenance, cleaning, catering etc. working under direction from the Facilities Manager.
  • Review related facilities documents – identifying potential compliance risks and escalating to the Facilities Manager, assisting with remedial actions as required.
  • Accurately collate and document required information such as insurances, work permits, guarantees, Health and Safety certificates etc. into the database.
  • Undertake H&S inspections, identifying and highlighting identified risks and ensuring all risk assessments are in place. Lead in the delivery of DSE and routine H&S Inductions for new staff.
  • Act as the general point of contact for colleagues, sub-contractors, vendors etc. providing answers to queries in a timely and professional manner.
  • Complete any general administrative tasks as required.

Compensation and Benefits

  • Salary £ 23,500 - £28,100. depending on experience.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
English and Math qualifications are required. Demonstrable experience working in a fast paced, and demanding environment. A high level of administrative skills including; Office, Excel, Outlook with good attention to detail. To be interpersonal, with a can do attitude and desire to progress within a business.
