Job Description
The position is due to start immediately on a full time basis. The salary offered is up to £40,000 per annum, depending on experience.
The ideal candidate will have worked with an elderly client group and will be able to drive.
Duties will include (but not limited to):
- Overseeing and managing the day-to-day running of a residential nursing home, caring for clients with dementia
- Managing all aspects of the service in line with CQC and CIW requirements
- Conducting appraisals, setting rotas and training new staff in line with organisation and CIW policies
- Ensuring service users receive the highest standards of professional support in order to promote independent living
- Delivering quality support to meet needs in accordance with individual support plans
- Positively promoting a culture that seeks to prevent abuse/neglect and ensures protection
- Ensuring the safe administration, ordering and storing of medication
- Contributing to the care and wellbeing of service users and updating care plans
- Liaising with care providers and third parties such as GPs to provide an excellent service to residents
