Urgently needed

An exciting opportunity to join a local independent plumbers merchant based in Wigan.

Knowledge of plumbing, heating and bathroom materials is essential.

Duties:

  • Answering telephone and email enquiries.
  • Dealing with telephone queries effectively.
  • Taking and processing customer orders.
  • Raising customer quotations.
  • Contacting trade customers by phone and email.
  • Placing orders with suppliers.
  • Serving and dealing with customers on the trade counter.
  • All other general office duties.
  • Maintaining a safe and secure working environment by following safety/company procedures.

Hours:

  • Monday-Friday
  • 7.30am - 5.00pm
  • 2 Saturdays mornings per month
  • 8.00am - 12.00noon

Experience:

  • Sales/Plumbing, Heating and Bathroom: 2 years (Preferred)

Excellent customer service skills. PC Literate. (Word/Excel) Excellent attention to detail. Ability to work alone and as part of a team. Work well under pressure.
