Job Description

We are a well-established family run street lighting business delivering high quality street lighting solutions to local authorities.

We are looking for a motivated, practical candidate to join our team.

40 Hours per week initially on a 3 month contract.

Wage:

£18720 per annum

Job duties and responsibilities:

General administrative duties and assisting with planning works including:

  • Obtaining asset plans and utility drawings
  • Updating records within timescales
  • Diary management and other time critical tasks
  • Assisting in processing and planning of work
  • Ensuring the accuracy of records
  • Providing and updating detailed statistical information
  • Contributing to the overall ethos/work/aims of the business.

Day to day duties including:

  • Obtaining utility prints
  • Accepting works
  • Data processing
  • Answering phones
  • Electronic filing
  • Complying with all necessary policies and procedures relating to equality and diversity, health, safety and security, confidentiality and data protection, reporting all concerns to an appropriate person
  • Other associated duties.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Excellent I.T. skills. Ability to communicate effectively with colleagues. Ability to multitask, with a positive can-do attitude. Ability to work within deadlines. Proficiency in the use of PC's / Mac’s. Motivation and professionalism.
