he role of being a senior carer is an important role within working in the health & social care industry. You will lead, develop and co-ordinate a team of care workers to provide the highest standards of respect and care. Overall ensuring the dignity of the clients is maintained at all times. You will be responsible for running the shifts that you work and managing on all medication on shift.

Some of your roles & responsibilities as a senior carer will include:

Assisting with the activities of daily living and personal care.

Supervising a team of carers, providing support and assistance, providing them with PPE and documents as and when needed.

Carry out spot checks on Home Carers.

Complete reviews and assessments on Service Users as and when required.

Reporting any issues to the management team.
