Liaising with and reporting to the Head of Finance
Overseeing and assisting with the preparation of the monthly management accounts pack, inclusive of the monthly P&L and balance sheet
Analyse financial performance using key performance indicators that drive the performance of the business
Assisting in obtaining, analysing and reporting on non-financial information to drive the performance of the business
Recommend methods and strategies for reducing costs
Preparation of the figures for annual budgets and revised forecasts during the year including the preparation of the commentary
Assist with the year-end audit and work with external auditors
Oversee daily finance activities and assist with the day to day financial control and management of the company
Maintaining financial control throughout period end close
Analysis and manipulation of large amounts of data
Collaborate with other departments and provide support as required
Assisting with ad-hoc tasks as required
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Experience using management reporting systems Good understanding of financial transactions Ability to work to strict deadlines Previous experience working with Sage (Desirable) ACA/ACCA/CIMA part-qualified preferable Degree educated with a strong academic background. Experience in a similar role. Strong working knowledge of MS Office
