Job Description

YOUR DUTIES

You will join the busy Customer Service team as a Customer Service Administrator. You will be the first point of contact for customers calls and be responsible for demonstrating a positive, helpful and professional approach.

Your duties will include:

  • Dealing with customer queries in a professional manner, largely via incoming calls
  • Liaising with internal departments and customers via email
  • Keeping customers updated on the progress of their query throughout the journey
  • Contacting customers to resolve any problems with orders
  • Working closely with the Transport Department, Production Office and other sites regarding the delivery of urgent customer orders
  • Ensuring the database is accurately maintained and updated at all times

This is a full-time, permanent position, working within a stable organisation.

You will work from 8.30am until 5.00pm Monday – Friday, and will receive an annual salary of £17,684.16.


Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Carry recent experience in a similar customer service administrator position Ideally have worked in a manufacturing or distribution organisation Have excellent communication skills, including a professional telephone manner and good written skills Be confident in dealing with a range of customers and handling queries Have excellent IT Skills (MS Office is essential including Outlook and Excel)
