To be responsible for implementing and maintaining logistics administration systems and compiling and maintaining documentation and managing information;
To ensure that all tachographs are collated / downloaded and analysed within the legal allocated time;
To assist the Warehouse and Transport Manager in ensuring all Conservatory Group driving licences, digital tachographs, driver qualification cards are up to date and checked regularly;
To organise vehicles for their Preventative Maintenance Inspections and MOT’s;
To answer queries from both external and internal customers and communicate essential departmental requirements and objectives to reporting team;
To assist the Warehouse and Transport Manager in ensuring the drivers operate in a safe and legal manner, issuing all relevant driver documentation ensuring they are fully aware of their responsibilities and requirements.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Previous experience of working in a busy, fast paced manufacturing and logistics environment; Excellent numeracy and literacy skills with experience of analytical work would be advantageous; Excellent communication skills with the ability to develop good positive working relations with all stakeholders; Excellent organisational and planning skills with a focus on the delivery of a quality service; The ability to demonstrate effective time management, prioritise own tasks and manage own workload ensuring all work is completed in a timely and accurate manner with proven experience of adhering to deadlines.
