Job Description

Through implementation of detailed strategy, we are growing through the COVID 19 epidemic and seeking to recruit an Apprentice to join our New Claims Department, on a permanent, full-time basis.

The ideal candidate would be joining the firm in their Grade A open plan office, along with having a friendly team to meet within a warm spacious environment. It also has additional perks such as a beautiful rooftop terrace with a fantastic city view, resulting in a ‘feel good’ factor in being part of a successful growing firm

Being the first point of contact for new clients with enquiries, you will need to have excellent communication skills and adequate computer literacy with a basic knowledge of Word, Excel and Outlook.

This Manchester based role is a fantastic opportunity for an apprentice who wishes to enter the legal profession alongside obtaining their business administration qualification. Training and mentoring provided.

The firm specializes in various areas of law including Immigration, Personal Injury and Tax.

Required Skills & Experience:

As part of the new claims team, your duties will primarily include:

· Being the first point of contact via telephone with new and existing clients.

· Inputting and updating of client details on the company’s CRM system

· Minimum grade B in Math, English and ICT highly desirable

· Being responsible for the gathering of data and inputting of new claims and new business enquiries

· Completing tasks to support the rest of the Team involving work with introducers, Engineers, third party insurers and medical agencies

· Working towards targets and deadlines in respect of the setting up of files and submitting Claim Notification Forms.

· Understanding and embracing the concept of excellent customer service

· Chasing paperwork and outstanding case information in a professional & timely fashion

· Ensuring that medical appointments are dealt with in a timely fashion and in accordance with due process

· Being responsible for administrative tasks that provide a support function within the business, including but not limited to, incoming and outgoing post, scanning, cheques, banking and bundle preparation.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
· A passion for the legal profession and the hunger to progress within the legal sector · GCSE grade B or above in both Math, English and ICT.
