Job Description

The role is focused on being a right hand person to the MD providing digital marketing skills to enable us to bring our social media strategy in house, helping organize our attendance (and attend yourself) of virtual events, and providing administrative support to the MD and Commercial Sales Manager

Key responsibilities include:

  • Digital marketing support
  • Creating Content - responsible for owning day-to-day digital content and social media communication across digital channels,
  • Contributing to content strategy, content creation and performance reporting.
  • Examine analytics data, plus competitor and industry activity and links..
  • Drive traffic to our website - determine success criteria and evaluate results accordingly. This includes Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn and editorial content platforms.
  • Influence and contribute to the creative development of any projects relating to our digital marketing.

· Organize K’s Wors attendance at events (currently virtual) and exhibitions where applicable ensuring the marketing materials, samples and other requirements are fulfilled

  • Ad hoc administrative support to MD and Commercial Sales Manager

· Keeping track of sales.

· Regular sales reports.

· Respond to questions from clients and customers.

· Attend regular marketing team meetings.

· Attend meetings with clients to discuss sales and marketing strategies.

· Follow trends in marketing.

· Establish and maintain our customer base.

· Provide consistent customer service.

· Expand the business into a variety of different markets.

The role will be a development role with much responsibility and coaching from the MD and commercial sales manager. There are opportunities for this role to develop into a more senior level for the right person.

This is a generally a full-time role but part-time might be considered for the right candidate. It is largely Monday to Friday but some weekend working might be required for attending meetings with partners in different time zones (with time off in lieu).

It is mainly home based but with face to face meetings by appointment in Manchester in line with COVID restrictions.

An ability to deal with ambiguity and change is important plus a good sense of humor. It will not be easy, but we will have a great deal of fun!!

  • Monday to Friday

Experience:

  • sales and marketing: 1 year (Required)

Education:

  • GCSE or equivalent (Required)

License:

  • UK Driving (Required)

Work remotely:

  • Temporarily due to COVID-19

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
· Have minimum of one year’s commercial experience. · Be well organized and self-motivated and able to work without consistent supervision. · Knowledge of digital marketing ideally in an FMCG/food environment. · Be educated to A Level equivalent or above. · Have UK driving license. · It will be a bonus to have a black book of useful contacts in the food industry.
