In conjunction with the HR community, review, develop and implements HR Strategy, Policies & Procedures
Keep up to date with current legislation and best practice
Support the divisional business in understanding, implementing and promoting effective people management techniques
Evaluate the divisional business needs and contributes to improving the business performance
To work with business leaders to identify and mitigate risks of business plans in terms of employee relations
Support line managers on organisational design and culture change issues so they meet the current and future requirements of the divisional business
Encourage continuous improvement and innovative approaches within the divisional business
Manage change initiatives and programme implementation to support the delivery of the divisional business objectives
Monitor service provision and takes action when required to ensure continuous improvement
Support the divisional business to enable it to manage absence
Take an active role in implementing HR projects from time to time
Input, extract and compile information from HR Information Systems
Provide the divisional business with accurate and timely information/advice on employment law, policies and procedures to ensure their effective, fair and consistent application within the bounds of best practice and in line with the organisation values and relevant regulations
Liaise with internal and external specialist practitioners

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
CIPD Level 7 is desirable. Associate CIPD is desirable. Experience in a similar operational HR Manager role, ideally for a main FM provider. Proven ability to deal with high volume and fast paced environments Sufficient exposure to a variety of employee relations matters, including sickness absence, disciplinary, grievance, capability, TUPE etc.
