Job Description

Sitting on the senior leadership team, reporting into the Head of HR you will play an integral role in the business to improve the overall talent acquisition & recruitment strategy. Business partnering with key stakeholders within the business is a key focus of this role and you will be expected to build credible, long term working relationships. The role consists of fast paced recruitment, technical recruitment, business partnering and strategy/project work. You must be adaptable and be willing to step away from project/strategy work when the business needs.

Key duties include:

* End to end recruitment of vacancies at varying levels

* Develop and manage Group Talent Acquisition plan

* Works in partnership with HR Leads, Managers, Leadership Teams and Directors to ensure recruitment objectives are met in a professional and timely manner

* Tracks recruitment trends and candidate attraction methods

* Makes recommendations on recruitment strategies

* Meets with hiring managers to ensure recruitment requirements are fully understood and the recruitment process and associated tests are agreed upon

* Writes and maintains job descriptions and advertisements in conjunction with managers and associated HR Leads as required

* Manages the full recruitment process

* Pro-actively coach's managers through the recruitment process, providing one to one training and group training as required.

* Researches and utilises different methods of candidate attraction; web / print advertising, networking events, careers fairs, LinkedIn, social media and recruitment agencies ensuring the most successful and cost-effective methods are used negotiating rates where necessary.

* Ensure all opportunities are promoted internally on company websites, intranet, ATS and Social Media platforms

* Employer branding and recruitment campaigns

* Project manage the graduate scheme

* Evaluates and tracks success of candidate attraction methods used

* Develops and maintains strong relationships with potential candidates both internally and externally, promoting the corporate employer brand through a first-class candidate experience

* Talent pooling: builds up a database / pipeline of candidates and contacts within the industry and academia to assist with future candidate attraction

* Employer branding through careers fairs, presentations and networking events.

* Reviews terms and performance of suppliers on a regular basis making recommendations for change where necessary

* Ensures recruitment reports and metrics are produced in an efficient and timely manner

* Provides detailed analysis and strategic input at HR / Recruitment meetings.

* Works in partnership with business leads to keep abreast of potential business growth and additional head count requirements.

* Support the HR Team with talent management and succession planning

* Part of the HR Project team contributing to the strategic HR Roadmap

* Contributes to the recruitment plan and ensures the plan is updated quarterly

* Contributes to the recruitment budget for the upcoming year and proactively tracks recruitment spend across the Group

* Is aware of own work capacity and proactively communicates capacity to manager

* Ensures manager and team members are aware of planned absence (e.g. holidays, time off in lieu) and that appropriate approvals are granted

* Ensures that confidentiality and compliance are maintained always.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
The ideal candidate: - Minimum of 5 years' experience working in an In house recruitment position - Minimum of 3 years' working as 'Lead', 'Head' or 'Manager' of an in house recruitment division - Proven experience of building effective relationships with key stakeholders in the business - Must have experience working in a senior leadership team and business partnering with director level staff - Must be agile to meet business demands and have willingness to focus on more mundane tasks when necessary - Ideally experience working to both high volume recruitment and technical level recruitment - Ideally you will have experience in FMCG/Manufacturing although this isn't essential
