Job Description

As a key member of the UK Finance management team, the Technical Accounting Manager has responsibility for ensuring compliance with all relevant IFRS and UK GAAP standards. You’ll need to be a strong communicator and able to explain accounting topics to a wide variety of stakeholders.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

You will need to be a qualified accountant, (ACCA or CIMA) as well as hold supervisory experience with medium to large teams or equivalent. You will also have experience with a general ledger system, preferably SAP. We are a fast-moving consumer finance business and looking for experience within a similar environment Personally you will need to hold effective communication and interaction skills as part of the role will involve liaising with non-technical stakeholders. This is a busy position, the ability to prioritise and effectively manage your time is essential. We are also looking for an ability to multi-task, problem solving skills and someone who is detail oriented with strong organisational skills.
