The position is due to start immediately on a full time basis. The hourly rate is negotiable based on experience for this position.
The ideal candidate will be part or fully qualified with previous experience in the sector, however this requirement can be flexible.
Duties will include (but not limited to):
Providing full standard management accounting support for all Income & Neighbourhoods related activity, providing analysis and insight to the senior management on the performance and efficiency of those specific areas
Working with senior managers and stakeholders in the preparation of budgets, responsible for all aspects of budget monitoring and accounting for neighbourhoods properties costs e.g. council tax and utilities
Taking ownership of all control and balance sheet accounts under the remit of the role as well as management of tenant sinking funds, ensuring correct accounting, reconciliation and management of balance
Processing Rent and Service Charge Income postings, Rent Control reconciliation, and providing Bad debts calculation and analysis
Processing Voids calculation, validation and analysis including voids Adjustment calculation (month end true up)
Reviewing the administration of any third party contractual arrangements ensuring complete understanding of the commercial agreements and proper and correct accounting and reporting
Assisting the Senior Management Accountant with the preparation of Management Accounts for Boards

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
CCAB qualified or part-qualified Open Accounts experience desirable Competent in Excel (Access databases, VBA, report writers, Excel modelling)
