Job Description

This permanent role has arisen through an internal promotion and is a brilliant opportunity for a commercially focused Finance Manager to get involved within a business going through a transformational change period to make a lasting development in their career.
Day to day your responsibilities will be business dependent, you will be the flagship link between the site operations and the finance team, but as a standard your duties as Commercial Finance Manager will include:
-Making sure that business decisions and strategy have commercial and financial merit
-Performance and variance analysis, reviewing against agreed budgets and forecast making appropriate recommendations on any shortfalls
-Ensuring financial control is implemented across any site investment programmes
-Being an active member of the Site Leadership team, championing and dealing with any financial issues
-Line management of 2 finance team members on site - development and coaching
-Supporting none finance operational teams - coaching on financial matters and best practice
-Any other finance support as and when required


Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
-You will be a Qualified Accountant - (CIMA/ACA/ACCA) -You will have experience in a commercial business partnering role -You will have experience in staff management -As a must you will have experience dealing with none financial business heads -Experience of Financial Analysis/ Modelling -You will have experience in a logistics / distribution or consumer goods business -Excellent Excel skills are required for this role
