The Senior Accountant role will play a key role in strategic financial management across the organisation and will contribute to long term financial planning. It holds responsibility for leading a team of part/qualified accountants and providing commercial support to the wider organisation.
Oversee and lead budget monitoring and setting
Provide financial advice, commercial support and challenge to senior non-finance stakeholders
Drive improvements in financial management processes
Provide leadership and development for a team of qualified and part qualified Accountants
Develop, negotiate and lead the implementation of service level agreements and performance targets

The successful candidate will be:
Qualified Accountant (CCAB)
Excellent communication and business partnering abilities
Strong management skills with previous experience of working as part of a senior management team
Experience within a public sector organisation would be advantageous
