Reporting into the Partner you will be providing commercial, pragmatic generalist HR support to Directors and teams on day to day basis
ROLE OUTCOMES/DUTIES
- Supporting the Exec Board and Partners to recruit, retain and motivate their teams
- Providing advice on all HR matters to managers
- Creating and implementing clear HR policies and procedures in conjunction with the Exec team
- Managing the end to end recruitment process at all levels of the firm – seeking Executive committee approval, liaising with recruitment agencies, supporting recruitment interviews, making job offers, issuing contracts of employment, carrying out pre-employment checks, and co-ordinating the on-boarding process
- Working with the Well-being committee to support employee wellbeing initiatives
- Working with the Marketing team to support employee engagement and CSR
- Managing the leaver process, including conducting exit interviews
- Supporting the Accountant in the monthly preparation of payroll, annual pay reviews and responding to queries on reward and benefits
- Managing absence, sickness and maternity / paternity leave
- Co-ordinating probationary period reviews and the annual appraisal process
- Organising training courses for staff and ensuring all training records are kept up to date
- Managing and maintaining company compliance documentation including SRA records and ID documentation
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
The successful candidate will have worked previously in a busy HR environment, ideally level 3 CIPD qualification or relevant experience.
