Job Description

I am exclusively partnered with my client to recruit a commercially focused, experienced Business Administrator to work as part of my clients team. The ideal candidate will have worked in a Sales Administration role previously, and will be able to travel to other sites in Scotland when necessary. The successful candidate must have a current driving licence.

My client is a growing, award winning packaging business with a strong focus in Europe. They employ over 7000 staff, but remain a market leading family owned business.

Description

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Managing a portfolio of customer accounts.
  • Ordering, delivery and stock management of all components for each account.
  • Interpreting and reviewing customer forecasts and requirements to ensure customer demands are fully met , whilst minimising cost.
  • Co-ordinating and processing new product developments from conception to order stage.
  • Client relationship management.
  • Liaison with internal and external departments.
  • Ad hoc admin duties and assisting in project work.

Profile

The successful candidate will likely have the following profile:

  • Previous sales administration experience gained in a fast paced environment.
  • Business acumen with proven analytic skills.
  • Problem solving skills , with the ability to handle customer service complaints effectively.
  • Customer focused with the ability to adapt his/her operating style to deliver high class customer service.
  • Effective communication skills both oral and written
  • Competent in the use of Microsoft Office including outlook.
  • Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritise own workload.
  • Proven track record of managing internal and external relationships
  • Self motivated with the willingness to work on your own or as part of a team.
  • Attention to detail with the ability to complete work to deadlines.

Job Offer

My client is willing to offer a starting salary of £21,500 for the successful business administrator. This comes in addition to a matched pension of 3% and life assurance.
