The preparation of client accounts and tax returns, for approval
Company secretarial duties
VAT and P11d returns
To assist with on the job training of more junior members of staff
Management accounts preparation and meeting with client
Occasional site visits to meet with clients
Work closely with partners and managers to create best practice strategies and develop the firm
Audit assistance (for candidates desiring exposure to audit, or with audit experience currently)

Senior Accountant Position Requirements

ACA or ACCA qualified (or Finalist) and have 5 years accountancy practice experience
Must be able to prepare accounts and business tax computations to final stage.
Excellent Excel skills required.
VAT and P11d experience would be beneficial

Salary circa £35,000 / £37,000

Senior Accountant with Practice experience required. The Senior Accountant will be ideally ACA / ACCA qualified or a Finalist with practice experience and be based local our clients Peterborough, Cambridgeshire office.

The role will involve the preparation of client accounts, calculating tax liabilities providing a comprehensive accounting and advisory service to clients. Previous audit experience is desirable for this role and you will be asked to assist more junior member of the team as well.
