Job Description

Our Business Control team works closely with the business to ensure our business is running efficiently and safely at all times. As a key part of this team our new Finance Manager will be responsible for:

  • Providing financial guidance and support, enabling the organisations to make sound business decisions
  • Overlooking the payroll process, ensuring all transactional duties including purchase, sales ledger, intercompany, bank and balance sheet reconciliations are completed accurately
  • Managing small team of finance/accounts assistants
  • Ensure adequate financial control structure, policies and procedures are in place to minimise financial risk
  • Preparation of management accounts and MI reports to specific deadlines management decision making
  • Work with all the teams within EFI, forming strong internal relationships based on a shared vision
  • Lead the preparation of the detailed annual budget and forecasts
  • Complete detailed analysis, including variance analysis against budget and forecast
  • Cash Flow Forecasting and management
  • Maintain and build relationships with service providers including banks, professional advisors (including auditors) and international companies
  • Year end audit preparations
  • Conducting reviews and evaluations for cost-reduction opportunities

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
A minimum of 3-5 years previous experience of working in a similar role Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent) with 2-3 years PQE Experience working with Xero accounting software or similar is desirable Ability to work autonomously, prioritising their workload, using their initiative and meeting deadlines Experience in a role with accounting, compliance and auditing responsibilities is desirable People management experience
