Our Business Control team works closely with the business to ensure our business is running efficiently and safely at all times. As a key part of this team our new Finance Manager will be responsible for:
Providing financial guidance and support, enabling the organisations to make sound business decisions
Overlooking the payroll process, ensuring all transactional duties including purchase, sales ledger, intercompany, bank and balance sheet reconciliations are completed accurately
Managing small team of finance/accounts assistants
Ensure adequate financial control structure, policies and procedures are in place to minimise financial risk
Preparation of management accounts and MI reports to specific deadlines management decision making
Work with all the teams within EFI, forming strong internal relationships based on a shared vision
Lead the preparation of the detailed annual budget and forecasts
Complete detailed analysis, including variance analysis against budget and forecast
Cash Flow Forecasting and management
Maintain and build relationships with service providers including banks, professional advisors (including auditors) and international companies
Year end audit preparations
Conducting reviews and evaluations for cost-reduction opportunities

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
A minimum of 3-5 years previous experience of working in a similar role Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent) with 2-3 years PQE Experience working with Xero accounting software or similar is desirable Ability to work autonomously, prioritising their workload, using their initiative and meeting deadlines Experience in a role with accounting, compliance and auditing responsibilities is desirable People management experience
