About the Role:

 

We're looking to recruit a Finance Manager on a Fixed Term Contract to join our Finance team, responsible for working across the new accounting system implementation and associated changes required to processes and controls, working with the external auditors, supporting month end processes as required and working on ad hoc projects and activities as required.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

• Support the implementation of the new accounting system
• Support changes to existing process and embed new processes and controls as a result of the new accounting system implementation
• Support management of the external audit relationship
• Support with month end processes as required
• Provide support to ensure a robust SOX control environment is in place and risks are appropriately managed
• Ad hoc projects and technical accounting as deemed necessary by the Senior Finance Manager

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Qualifications - Essential Chartered Accountancy qualification Graduate calibre or above Skills – Essential Ability to influence and persuade challenging internal customer client base and external contacts Strong communication and interpersonal skills Strong analytical and forecasting skills Good presentation skills Technical accounting Planning and organising multiple activities to deadlines Clarity of vision and ability to drive change Experience – Essential Accounting system implementation Working in external audit, and / or working with / managing external auditors Designing and implementing changes to processes and controls Working in, or having clients in fast paced, complex environment, preferably in a listed business Experience – Desirable Integration of group acquisitions Previous experience of working in a regulated environment (SOX / FCA)
