Job Description

Key Responsibilities and Tasks:
+ Monthly financial accounting for the FSS EMEA entities
+ Detailed variance analysis on the monthly financial reports
+ Preparation and approval of balance sheet reconciliations
+ Working closely with the FP&A, in country finance, operations and HR teams to ensure transactions are accurately reported
+ Year-end statutory and tax compliance
+ Key contact for internal and external auditors
+ Assist with maintaining SOX compliance
+ Other ad-hoc duties

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
+ CIMA / ACCA / ACA qualified + Good technical accounting knowledge and comfortable with double entry bookkeeping + Familiar with the preparation of management accounts or statutory accounts process + Well organised and comfortable working in a fast paced environment + Ability to work independently, whilst displaying enthusiasm to assist other members of the GL team when required + Attention to detail + An ambitious individual with a focus on career progression + Strong communication and interpersonal skills + Experience of SAP is preferred but not essential + Familiar with MS Office, especially MS Excel + Additional languages will be beneficial, in particular – Norwegian, Danish, Swedish, Finnish, French, Dutch or German
