Job Description

We understand that success in our business is only guaranteed if we hire, train, retain, develop and reward the best people based on their behavioral competencies rather than specific skills and experience. So, previous experience is not essential, but you will have to impress us to be hired!

Working from our Altrincham office you will report to the Managing Director and provide high quality, wide-ranging project management and administrative support services to the management team.

The business has recently invested in a leading construction project management software tool (‘Builder Trend’) which provides, marketing, customer management relations, sales, financials and project management. As a priority, the role will necessitate becoming a ‘power user’ to ensure this business asset is fully utilized. Therefore, you will need to learn very quickly through on-the-job-training, and Builder Trend’s online training academy tutorials. Shortlisted candidates will be expected to give a 5-minute presentation on 'Builder Trend' and explain how they will become a ‘power user’.

The support and administrative components of the job description will be similar to that of a construction services company or architectural firm i.e., production of all site correspondence, to include: architectural drawings and admin support, subcontractor quotes, tenders, client correspondence, materials resource planning, purchasing, supplier liaison and customer sales.

You will also be expected to create, manage and update sales documents and electronic filing systems within BuilderTrend for the management team and ensure all communication is effective between clients, subcontractors, and suppliers in a prompt and professional manner.

Further duties will include the management of incoming and outgoing calls, and supporting where appropriate the day-to-day diary management of the Managing Director. You will also liaise with our accountant to ensure invoicing and billing is completed promptly and accurately at all times through 'Builder Trend' and 'QuickBooks' accounting software.
