Duties & Responsibilities include:
- Managing all daily running’s of an office including ordering, cash handling and general cleaning duties
- Opening, sorting and administrating correspondence including emails and letters, handling incoming and outgoing calls and managing appropriately.
- General admin duties including filing, data entry and upkeep of company records including staff holidays and sickness records
- Placing orders and taking orders through the entire process from receipt to processing for warehouse, billing/invoicing and after-sales calls and requests
- Ensuring that health and safety policies are up to date and followed by staff
- Maintains office staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees and also coaching, counselling, and disciplining employees, and appraising job results
- Handling client invoices by recording and approving or denying the payments
- Using a range of software, including email, spreadsheets and databases, to ensure the efficient running of the office
- Answering general emails and postal correspondence with customers and suppliers
