You are going to have a number of key performance indicators: delivering high quality accounting advice to the UK Board, leading the delivery of audit information (and resolution of queries) and external reporting obligations.
There is of course a very high expectation of experience and technical knowledge, with relevant qualifications (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) and validated experience over a number of years. As well as this you will need a proven understanding of international financial reporting standards (IFRS) and UK GAAP.
I would lose your attention if I were to bullet point every expectation, requirement and competency – let’s be honest, you likely already know what it involves as you will likely be an accountant or senior accountant.
You will receive a salary of £35,000 - £51,000 depending on your experience, a good amount of ‘you’ time with the 25 holiday days on top of your 8 bank holidays, with a 15% bonus, which is driven by your own performance, continued personal development opportunities, pension and healthcare.
There has recently been a major office renovation, which will have a phased re-introduction over the coming months and lead by government guidelines.
