Your new role
In this Preston based senior accountant role you will primarily be involved with preparing year end accounts for limited companies with turnovers ranging between £250K and £5million. On top of this, you will be tasked with other responsibilities including monthly management accounts, some ad-hoc VAT work and the potential for ad-hoc payroll duties if you so wish. Just about all the firm's clients use Xero so this software will part of your daily routine.

The firm are looking to offer a salary between £25,000 - £30,000 (DOE), free parking, 22 days holiday + bank holiday, friendly & varied client base, friendly atmosphere and team and time owing in lieu system.

 

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

In order to succeed in this role you will need extensive experience working in an accountancy practice previously. You must be have had experience preparing statutory accounts under FRS102A for clients with turnovers into the millions. This will be a client facing role so you should possess strong interpersonal and communication skills.
