Your new role
Your new role as a senior accountant will be to assist with the firms client accounting requirements. This will include full sets of year-end accounts preparation, audit assignments out at client sites (although audit experience is not vital), tax computations, VAT returns and potentially some bookkeeping. As this is a senior position you will be expected to be able to liaise and advise clients to a high level and be able to run with your work with little supervision/training.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

In order to be a successful applicant for this role you will have extensive previous experience of working within practice and be competent in preparing accounts well into the millions. It would be beneficial to be competent on SAGE and be experienced in tax computations and corporation tax returns however these would not be deal breakers. Knowledge of making tax digital and cloud-based software's would also be beneficial. You will need to have a driving license and own a car to be a successful applicant for this role.
