Job Description

This position would suit kindly to an individual with experience in a client facing role or making their first move from an accounting practice.

In this Senior Accountant job, you will be responsible for:

· Bookkeep a complex range of funds, management companies and associated fund structures and liaise with clients and intermediaries as necessary

· Complete all aspects of accounting matters for a portfolio of fund structures, including the preparation, reconciliation and proofing of investor reports, statutory financial statements, and ad hoc investor queries

· Deal with the completion of routine audit queries

· Prepare periodic bank reconciliations and provide supporting documentation evidencing transactions are completed within a robust control environment

· Ensure accurate and timely payment of invoices and other payments

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Our client’s ideal candidate will either be qualified or finalist in ACA or ACCA, with any exams left being assisted through their study support programme. You will ideally have experience working in the Financial Services sector or an Accountancy Practice with a client facing focus. In this job you will also need to utilise your communication skills, sound technical understanding and strong Excel skills in equal measure.
