Your new job
As a Portfolio manager you will assist the director with the delivery of accounting services to a portfolio of clients under the audit threshold. Predominantly dealing with well established owner managed businesses and SMEs you will be responsible for the preparation and review of statutory accounts, corporation tax computations and monthly management accounts alongside supervising and training junior staff. You will be at the forefront of the client relationship - dealing with client queries, offering ad hoc due diligence and management consultancy services and leading client meetings. You will be responsible for managing your workload and ensuring a high level of client service is provided.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

The firm are seeking an ACA / ACCA qualified accountant who has developed post qualified experience, ideally within a general practice and has experience operating in a client facing capacity. You must be confident liaising with both clients and your peers and also have good organisational skills. The firm are looking for commercially astute and ambitious accountants who are looking to progress their career.
