Our new Finance Assistant will take on a challenging and varied role. This is an ideal position for an ambitious individual who is seeking the opportunity to join an exciting tech company during a period of rapid expansion. In your new role, you will be responsible for:
Managing Accounts Receivable (AR): issue invoices, perform payment reconciliations, carry out credit control by email and phone;
Managing Accounts Payable (AP): process supplier invoices, set up bank payments, perform payment reconciliations;
Managing the company's Partnership commission scheme
Being the first point of contact for finance queries from the wider business;
Reconciling the company credit cards and chase cardholders for missing invoices/receipts;
Assisting with posting accounting transactions and bank reconciliations;
Assisting the Financial Controller and Management Accountant with monthly departmental cost reporting;
Assisting the Financial Controller with other ad hoc tasks, such as administrative support during budget preparation

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
You are studying towards AAT (or ACCA/CIMA or equivalent) Bookkeeping experience Experience using Xero accounting software Experience using CRM software, eg Salesforce Intermediate Excel skills (Lookups, Sumifs, Pivot tables etc), would be advantageous for some parts of the role Prior experience of working in a high growth startup Undergraduate degree in business, finance, accounting, maths, or a scientific discipline
