Job Description

An opportunity has arisen for experienced and self-motivated individuals to join the Management Accounting team based at North West Ambulance Service Headquarters on a fix term basis.

You will work closely with managers and budget holders to provide a full range of Management Accounting services as well as being responsible for the day-to-day duties within the Management Accounting team.

The Trust is an accredited training organization with CIMA, CIPFA and ACCA and has a proactive approach to the development of our Finance staff.

North West Ambulance Service NHS Trust provides 24 hour, 365 days a year accident and emergency services to those in need of emergency medical treatment and transport.

Our highly skilled staff provide life-saving care to patients in the community and take people to hospital or a place of care if needed.

We also provide non-emergency patient transport services for those patients who require non-emergency transport to and from hospital and who are unable to travel unaided because of their medical condition or clinical need.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

You must have substantial Management Accounting experience. Applicants will need to have excellent communication, organizational and analytical skills and be able to work flexibly in order to meet the needs of the service. A strong working knowledge of MS Office, particularly Excel and Word, is also essential for the role.
