Job Description

The Financial Controller will have overall responsibility for the day-to-day management of the finance function, working closely with the senior management team to drive the business forward.
Key responsibilities will include:
• Preparing monthly Management Accounts and profit & loss forecasts
• Preparing annual budgets
• Producing annual Statutory Accounts for review by external auditors
• Developing month end reporting pack and financial modelling
• VAT related tasks including VAT workings and quarterly returns
• Weekly and quarterly cash flow forecasting
• Responsible for contract accounting matters including determining revenue recognition on contracts, liaison with project managers/operations team to assess costs to complete, review of valuations and WIP

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

We are looking for an ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified accountant who can demonstrate broad SME experience and a willingness to be hands on, ideally with proven change management exposure. Some previous experience of using Evo- M or a simular Construction Accounting Software would be advatages
