Job Description

They are currently seeking a Quality Control Inspector to join their Portsmouth facility on an initial 3 month contract.

Work as a fully contributory member of the Quality team
Undertake routine Quality activities without immediate supervision
Undertake non-routine activities with some supervision
Liaise/ interface with appropriate areas of the business to ensure work schedules are met and results effectively communicated and deployed
Quality, auditor or equivalent experience with some experience in quality or related discipline
Quality Planning and Assurance systems; processes, procedures, data sampling and records
Defence industry and ISO9001/ EN9100 standards
An understanding of Continuous Improvement methodologies (Root Cause Analysis, 5 Whys, Fishbone, Six Sigma)
Good understanding of own discipline within Quality and a limited understanding of other disciplines
Practical understanding of LCM process, Business Management Systems, Operational Framework and Operational Assurance process or equivalent Governance best practice from industry·
Working knowledge of Root Cause Analysis (RCA) methodologies; Fishbone, 5 Whys, gathering objective evidence
Application of fact based actions/ improvements arising from RCA normally within Business Stream projects
