Job Description

We are looking for a Revenue Controller to join our FP&A Finance team dedicated to Personal Injury. This is a fast paced and varied role where you will act as the key conduit between the fee earning community to provide commercial insight into the WIP (work in progress) to ensure financial information is accurate and reliable.

Responsibilities

Develop a strong culture of financial awareness, commerciality and accountability across our fee earner community.
Maximizing revenue predictability, minimizing aged WIP and unbilled disbursements, driving through process improvement opportunities.
Dealing with a large portfolio of casework and working closely with fee earners and team leaders across the business at all levels to ensure cases are accurately recorded in the case management system and any changes impacting the accounts are processed in a timely manner.
Ensure that both time and the correct case stage is accurately and promptly recorded by fee earners.
Supporting the business with monthly billing.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Previous experience within an assurance/finance-based role. Previous exposure working within a fast paced legal / professional services environment. Strong working knowledge of WIP (Work in Progress) process. Experience of using a case management system (or similar) to investigate business performance. Experience of working with, and continually improving MI reporting. Ability to clearly communicate complex issues between stakeholders across the organization. Ability to work with large amounts of data and transform into meaningful information. Ability to work under pressure with a high volume of work.
