Job Description

You will be the owner and champion for the tools supporting the performance management cycle processes in close collaboration with the regional team and Group controlling teams
and various target setting tools, guiding the process in the Market Organizations/ Northern Europe Region. You will support local teams or the Finance Shared Service Centre with the annual audit, month end close and production of financial statements as required.

Proactively monitoring the external environment, you will collaborate with the regional team and/or Finance Business Partner to identify local financial risks and be the champion of the P&L and bring transparency on the value creation of the various functions.

Acting as a business partner to demonstrate insight to financial analysis techniques, tools and concepts to provide practical counsel to drive results. You will Prepare monthly reports and submit data on financial and business results, establishing clear, consistent reporting processes and reporting landscape for the market and ensure accurate and timely data and report availability

Our Head Office is currently based next to Old Trafford but in early 2021 we will move to state of the art new premises at Circle Square in Central Manchester. We will continue to offer free parking for employees and will be located a short walk from Oxford Rd train station and St Peter's Square tram stop.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Masters in Finance (or related field) and/or professional accounting qualifications, MBA advantageous. Proven experience in a financial, consultancy or auditing role within a multinational organization. Demonstrated knowledge in Accounting, Controlling, Reporting or Financial Advisory. Effective communication skills, including ability to structure clear presentations and simplify a financial message to non-finance stakeholders. Proficient English written and verbal communication. Strong business planning, financial planning (forecasting/budgeting) and analysis skills. Experience in financial planning, modelling and analysis and reporting software preferred (e.g. Excel, Access, Tagetik, SAP Analytics, SQL, Tableau).
