Job Description

• Providing and maintaining statutory and management accounts, cashflow management, payroll and service charge recovery
• Taking overall responsibility for providing the Group's management team with monthly financial reports for each company in the Group structure
• Managing and overseeing the creating of annual budgets for the Group, and overseeing the monitoring of these budgets against plan
• Assisting the Financial Controller in developing strategies when needed, particularly for cross-organisation functions
• Managing, training and developing a team of four staff (Income Accountant x2, Assistant Accountant x2)

The successful candidate will:

• Be a fully qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA or equivalent)
• Have prior experience working in a Housing Association
• Be experienced creating budget working papers for multiple entities within a Group
• Have in depth knowledge of financial processes for both single entity and group accounting
• Be a strong team manager
