A highly successful market leading business in the Chorley area has created a new opportunity due to succession planning. You would be a key person within this thriving medium sized business and the size of the team means that you will gain a full rounded experience across an accounting function, complimenting CIMA/ACCA study for which full support is on offer.
Working closely with the Commercial Manager you will be given the opportunity to:
Prepare a full set of management accounts for a smaller business division and assist with consolidated reporting
Provide support on re-designing the MI pack, giving you good commercial exposure
Gain exposure to all other elements including VAT reporting, fixed assets, working capital

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
To be considered for this career opportunity you should have a logical career path to date with at least 1 – 2 year experience within an accounts department. You will be the type of individual who will take every opportunity to advance your experience – and you will be able to demonstrate that from your current role. A good level of ambition and the ability to pick things up quickly is required as well as strong IT skills including Excel.
