Job Description

Reporting to the Senior Management accountant your role as Management accountant will assist with the development and management of financial performance reporting and metrics. As Management Accountant you shall assist in the preparation of the month end management accounts process and nominal activity analysis including all accruals, prepayments, inter-company analysis and journals. With the ability to provide timely and accurate board pack detail and analysis you shall also take responsibility for stock accounting across the group and seek to implement and enhance the standard costing process. As Management Accountant you shall assist in the preparation of the organization’s annual budgeting and forecasting activities and remain an active and influential member of the finance team, working across the organization to improve collaboration, communication, and effective working. You shall also assist in developing the finance department, support operational activities and assist in the provision of quality financial information to stakeholders.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

You shall be a confident Management Accountant with a minimum of three years' experience in Manufacturing accounting. With proven experience working in a manufacturing environment you shall also have a clear understanding of the manufacturing process and standard costs. A hands-on professional, prepared to assist across the accounting function you shall be able to hit the ground running in a fast paced business where no day is the same.
